Built around the milestone, not the shelf
Most gift shops are organized like a warehouse: watches in one aisle, pens in another. But nobody shopping for a newly minted partner starts with "pens." They start with the person and the moment. So we built Tenure Gifts the other way around. Start with who you are buying for, a doctor, a nurse, a lawyer or a real estate agent, or with the occasion, a graduation, a retirement or a thank-you, and you get a short list that fits.
A short list, on purpose
We carry about 40 pieces, not 40,000. Each one has to pass three tests before it goes on the site:
- It gets used at work. Pens that sign contracts, padfolios that go into meetings, watches worn every day. No novelty mugs.
- It lasts for years. Top-grain leather, sterling silver, acacia hardwood, 23K gold trim.
- It can be made personal. Our pens, cufflinks, sterling silver pieces and leather padfolios take an engraving line at checkout.
We also keep plenty of choices under $100, because many hospitals, firms and public employers cap what staff can give or receive.

Every piece ships directly from the workshop that makes it. There are fewer hands between the maker and your recipient, and every parcel has tracking.

- Orders usually leave the workshop within 1 to 3 business days, plus 1 to 3 days for engraving.

Who's behind Tenure Gifts
Oleksandr (Nathan) Bomshteyn, Founder. Nathan founded Tenure Gifts in Toronto in 2026. He has run Bomshteyn Consulting, a web development and technical SEO practice for small and medium-sized businesses, since 2010. Before that, he spent six years as a financial advisor with the Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network, where he also led marketing and new business development for the branch. Years of client relationships taught him how much a well-chosen thank-you matters, and how often gift rules decide what you can actually send. Tenure Gifts is the shop he wanted back then: organized by the milestone, short on filler and honest about the rules.
